Vairathir Culfindo
[Quenya: from 'Vairë'- meaning 'Weaver'. 'Cul'- from 'culda' meaning 'golden-red' + 'finda' meaning '-haired'.]
Solemn and passionate, tall, proud and powerful; eyes as grey as the evening, with hair like golden fire. Weaving in secret his spells, old and new, ever he searched, ever he hunted for more knowledge. Past 2000 years of Man his feet tread Arda's form, brandishing bow, blade, and spear against evil. But greater than any enemy, restlessness and desire churned always deep within his soul, for he was descended of Fëanor, the most Fated of all Eldar, and doom faithfully dogged his footsteps. After the departure of his parents for the Undying Lands, Bairadhir, as he was called by Men, and his younger sister dwelt in the wild forests of Greenwood the Great, where he could pursue his studies in silence.
But silence was not to be....
My first fantasy game character EVER: Bairadhir began many years ago in Lotro, the online game,...and, well, never went away. As for the name- it was completely constructed from my imagination during character creation- the Quenya translation came much much later.
Though a bit contrary to his dramatic introduction, his long-time nickname is Bairly-There.
(Quite a bit less prestigious, eh?)
Being an Elf of very High origins, while testing the late ESO Betas Middle-Earth-Bairly took form as an Altmer- and met Queen Ayrenn.

Bairadhir and his names belong to me. Quenya and its derivatives, as well as Middle Earth and its denizens belong to J.R.R.Tolkien. Queen Ayrenn, Altmer and ESO belong to Zenimax and Bethesda.
