Sotha Sero

 Thanks to and her instigative piece about a certain half-elf rascal (fav.me/d6xbecz), I got the itch to do a bit of justice to the fiery (boy-biting) offspring of my Dovahkiin, Vaenomar, and her man, the ever-charming Teldryn Sero.

 

  Due to her mother's interest in the foreign, (and almost taboo, due to her Nordic heritage), Dunmer culture, and her strong will, she was named after the mysterious, divine Tinkerer: Sotha Sil. Teldryn, warned her that 'Sotha' was the name of an extinct House, not even a first name, and definitely not one for a little girl- needless to say, a pregnant Mum always gets her way.

  Dunmer fire and Nordic ice course through Sotha's veins and a wild, spunky little imp she is, tagging along with her young parents to whatever land and new adventure. (Fortunately, the arguments between an over-careful daddy and an easy-going mum are usually above her head. The usual victory of the latter resulting in a few more grey hairs in that black Dunmer mohawk.) 

  Eyes with the sparkling, violet depth of the Northern night sky, her skin is ivory-pink, slightly paler than her mother, and she proudly inherited the unruly, black mane of her father, along with a lopsided pair of pointy ears. (Rubbing snow in the face of whoever wrote 'Racial Phylogeny')

  Quick with a twist of a grin and always at the ready with a naughty, pranking side, evidently Sotha is more than just a namesake as she takes a surprising interest, for one so young, in any smith work and artistry, and secretly begs Da for 'mahjika' lessons. "Ya know- jist in case..."

  So far, being dangled in between two very opposing races hasn't had any consequences. In time, with age, however- things are bound to change.

 And then there are boys.... =o
